30th REUNION PAGES

Here you will find info and links to specific info about our 30th year reunion, which occurred July 29th, 2006. We had SO much fun!!! Just think how much more fun it would have been if we had even MORE of our classmates there! Click HERE to read a few of my thoughts about this past reunion.

Let's make the next one even better by making sure everyone at least hears about it and has an opportunity to include it in their plans. The only way we can do this is if we don't wait till there are only a few months left before we start searching for those we have lost track of over the years.

If you know the whereabouts of a classmate who didn't get notice of this year's reunion, PLEASE  Contact me! so we can invite them to our next gathering, sometime in 2011, if you can believe that year is soon to be upon us, God willing.

NEW PICTURES of our recent 30th year reunion!!

Various other activities took place: (Families were invited to these, and it was great to get to know more of the various clans!)

Friday, July 28th, 6 pm until _. BYO PIZZA NIGHT at James Rines home. See Reunion Invitation for details. What a ball we had at the home of James and Brooke Rines in Center Ossipee. We just hung out together, shared pizza and drinks, and a lot of laughs with several classmates and several faculty members from Kingswood. My deepest thanks to James and Brooke for hosting us so graciously.

Saturday, July 29th, 8:30AM Meetinghouse 5K in New Durham.  Registration from 7:00 AM to race time. Starts and finishes at Farmington Fish and Game Club off of Rte 11. Click here for details. If you're not up to running it, but  you're in the area, you can revive your cheering skills by rooting for Dave Severance as he shows them he can still "smoke the tires." Dave did indeed smoke 'em up. I forget his time or place, but I can tell you this, I'm glad I wasn't competing against him.

Saturday, July 29th, 12:30PM Group hike up Mt.Major. I'm sorry to say that because of the VERY HOT day, (the hottest of the summer, maybe?) and because we didn't get communication lines established sufficiently to know anyone was going to be there, only Bob & Christina Nelson and their kids did this hike. Kudos to the whole family, Bob! Hopefully, we'll have our plan together better next time and get some more folks to join in on whatever hike, climb, etc activity we can come up with.

The details on this hike were as follows: Go 4.2 miles north from Alton Bay on Rt.11, parking is on the left side shortly after a scenic vista. Awesome panoramic view of Lake Winnipesaukee. Approx. 4 mile round trip hike, estimated 2.5 to 3 hours. Easy to moderate difficulty. Sunday, July 30th, Rain or shine, Noon until _.  We had a fantastic time at the BYO BBQ/Cookout at the Bob and Jane (Carville)Nielsen home in Brookfield. We had all kinds of great food from the grill, drinks, sidedishes, desserts, even Bailey's Ice Cream, courtesy of Chip and Deb (Hale)Skelley and Skelley's market/Bailey's Bubble. We had lots of family members in attendance also, including classmate's children, Jane's whole family, who assisted in hosting tasks and just had a ball with us, and we had visits from a couple of Mom's as well (David Lineham's and mine.) The kids enjoyed baseball and kickball, and they and many of us old folks had a great time of volleyball on the lawn. Bob and Jane really outdid themselves in all the wonderful things they provided for us, and our entire class is indebted to them for their generosity.

If you did not get an invitation to the reunion, or just would like to read it again, click on Reunion Invitation for details.
